Mazzanti Evantra V8 joins its 6-cylinder sibling, 0 to 62 mph comes in 3.2 secs

Mazzanti Automobili has dropped some details and pictures of its upcoming Evantra V8 supercar. Exactly a year ago, Mazzanti released pictures and details of the 6-cylinder version of the Evantra.

The new V8 version is powered by a naturally-aspirated 7.0 liter V8 engine making 701-hp at 6,600 rpm with a maximum torque of 625 lb-ft. Mated to a 6-speed Silatronic automatic transmission, Evantra hits 0 to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph.

Stopping power comes from a Brembo brake kit with 6-piston calipers and 380 mm discs at the front axle and 4-piston calipers with 360 mm for the rear. Carbon ceramic brakes are available as an option.

No word on pricing and availability but only 5 units are reported to be produced annually.
