Report: BMW to create M4 version of 4 Series, M3 will live on as well

In some way, shape or form, BMW has confirmed with CARandDRIVER that it will obviously produce an M4 version of the new 4 Series Coupe and an M4 Convertible of the 4-Series Convertible.

However, what’s interesting is that the M3 will not disappear – meaning the M3 sedan will live on as the 3 Series badge will only belong to the sedan variant while the coupe and the convertible become 4s.

Silly? We think so.
