Video: Chris Harris pins the BMW M135i against the Audi RS3
DRIVE’s Chris Harris is back today with two of Germany’s hottest and fastest new hatchbacks, the BMW M135i and the Audi RS3.
In the UK, the Audi RS3 starts at £39,950 (around $64,000 USD, while the BMW M135i starts at £29,995 (around $48,000 USD).

Power for the BMW M135i comes from a 3.0 liter turbocharged inline 6-cylinder making 315-hp – allowing it to go from 0 to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds when mated to a 6-speed manual and 4.9 seconds when mated to an 8-speed automatic. The Audi RS3 on the other hand is powered by a 2.5 liter inline 5-cylinder turbo making 335-hp and goes from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds when mated to a DSG transmission.
