At the 2012 Paris Motor Show later this month, Korean automaker SsangYong will be unveiling a concept for a plug-in hybrid crossover known as the e-XIV.
The concept is a second iteration of the XIV-2 Concept displayed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
The SsangYong e-XIV drops the XIV-2’s 1.6-liter engine with a range-extender setup that uses an electric motor for its with a small gasoline engine to charge the lithium-ion batteries.
No word on how many miles the SsangYong e-XIV will do on a full charge but stay tuned for more details.
