2013 Acura TL pricing starts at $36,800, 6-Spd manual still optional w/ SH-AWD

Acura has just released pricing and other details for its latest 2013 TL. The Japanese luxury brand has also subtly hinted that they’re keeping driving enthusiasm in mind as the 2013 Acura TL is still available with a six-speed manual with the SH-AWD system. Pricing starts at $36,800 for the base model, whereas the top dog TL with SH-AWD, a manual transmission, and the Technology Package rings in at $44,080.

The Acura TL was just recently refreshed for the 2012 model year, so it largely carries over into 2013 unchanged. The base model is still powered by Honda’s 3.5L V6 good for 280hp and 254 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed auto. The models equipped with SH-AWD are equipped with Honda’s updated 3.7L V6 good for 305hp and 273lb-ft of twist for a 0-60 time of 5.3 seconds, according to MotorTrend’s test numbers. The SH-AWD models can be equipped with either a six-speed auto or manual.

Standard features are also still typically Acura-high for the base model with HID headlights, fog lamps, power moonroof, an eight-speaker sound system, and 17-inch wheels are all standard. Of course, there are upgradeable options, as the aforementioned Technology Package costs an extra $3,730, which bumps the speaker count by two, a 60GB hard drive, an enlarged center screen, perforated leather seats, and Acura’s navigation system. Next would be the Advance Package, costing $2,200 and including heated and ventilated front seats, a blind-spot warning system, and 18-inch shoes.
