2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek price starts at $21,995, gets 33 mpg highway
Subaru has finally dropped pricing details of the new 2013 XV Crosstrek crossover. Price tags for the model will start at $21,995 for the Premium model and $24,495 for the Limited model (both prices don’t include a destination charge of $795).

The Premium model features a multi-function display with fuel economy information, security system with engine immobilizer and iPod connectivity, among other usual options. The Limited version adds in leather-trimmed upholstery, automatic climate control, a rear-vision camera, a 4.3-inch display and automatic headlights. Other options are available.
Power for the Subaru XV Crosstrek a 2.0-liter Boxer engine the produces 148-hp and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional second-generation Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission.
The all-wheel-drive crossover manages to average a fuel-economy of 25/33 mpg (city/highway) or 28 combined. EPA says that a full tank of gas will get you 401 miles. Annual fuel-cost should come in around $2,000 (based on 45% highway, 55% city driving, 15,000 annual miles and current fuel prices).
