Several new models are getting the Nismo treatment, which Nissan executive vice president Andy Palmer explains will be receiving “a power hike of around 15 percent, but the focus will be more on distinctive styling with the red highlights. We’ll also tune the suspension and steering, so customers can get more out of the power they have,” including the Juke and the Leaf, and more excitingly the GT-R and 370Z. The first to undergo the upgrades will be the Juke, going on sale first quarter next year.

Nismo RS models are also in the planning stages. Palmer describes these as “much more track-focused…” then the Nismo variants. So far, we know the Juke Nismo RS will be a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that makes 270hp, with a GT-R and 370Z likely to follow

We’ll have to sit tight for further details, but we’ll be sure to keep to posted as soon as they become available.
