Report: Honda’s U.S. business to take over design, development
According to Erik Berkman, the new president of Honda R&D Americas, the U.S. side of the company will start taking more of a lead on the growing list of global vehicles development projects. The move is being taken to help Honda compete strongly in North America – also, the rising yen is putting new responsibilities to the U.S. side.
