Video: Audi R8 e-tron’s Nurburgring lap
In June, Audi released pictures of its R8 E-tron lapping the Nurburgring in 8 minutes and 9 seconds. The company has now dropped a video showing race driver Markus Winkelhock take the electric supercar around the track.

The Audi R8 e-tron is fully electric and its motors pump out 308-hp with a maximum torque of 604 lb-ft, with more than 3,614 lb-ft of torque sent back to the rear wheels from standstill. 0 to 62 mph comes in just 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 122 mph (155.34 mph was approved for the record-setting lap).
