Motorsports fan would be interested to know that the world-renown Pikes Peak International Hill Climb competition will be taking place this up and coming weekend. As a result, Audi had decided to tease their special Pikes Peak edition of the RS5.
The competition was originally supposed to be held on July 8th. But due to the tragic wildfires that took place in Colorado, the race event was postponed to this weekend.
Other than the photo, Audi has remained very shy with full information. Either way, the tight uphill corners and the Audi’s performance in the event will thoroughly reveal if Audi has been able to fully overcome their past tradition of front-heavy cars. And although Audi’s specialty has always been rally racing, Pikes Peak was recently fully paved last year, ridding of the legendary combination of tarmac and dirt roads. It’ll be interesting to see how the RS5 manages.
Stay tuned for when Audi fully reveals the special RS5.
