Romeo Ferraris gives the BMW M5 648-hp

BMW’s M5 is about to get a little quicker with a new tuning kit in the works from Romero Ferraris.

A sports exhaust and remapped ECU will combine to create a total output of 648-hp and 583 lb-ft of torque. This is an increase of 96-hp and 81 lb-ft of torque for the model’s 4.4-liter V8 motor.

The M5 comes standard with a 190 mph top speed and a 0-62 mph time of 4.4 seconds, and while Romero Ferraris has yet to release all of the kits specs, expect both to improve.
