Aston Martin drops V12 Zagato production allocation to 101 units
When the new Aston Martin V12 Zagato made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the company said that it will be building a limited 150 units with a starting price tag of £330,000 ($510,625 USD).

Aston has now released a statement saying that it will only build 101 units instead of 150. No reason was given for the drop in limited production run but speculation has it that the car didn’t generate as much as buzz as Aston had hoped.
Either way, if you purchased one or are thinking of purchasing one, the V12 Zagato has just become a little more exclusive for you.
Refresher: Power for the production Aston Martion V12 Zagato comes from a 6.0 liter V12 engine making 510-hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. Fitted to a 6-speed manual transmission, the V12 Zagato goes form 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph.
