Audi CEO: We are aiming for No. 1 luxury car spot by 2020
Audi has big goals and ambitions – the Volkswagen Group owned luxury brand wants to become the world’s largest premium car maker by 2012, said Audi’s CEO Rupert Stadler in an interview with the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

“It is not about overtaking BMW tomorrow or the day after, but to seize and secure the top position,” Stadler said.
Previously, Stadler had talked about getting Audi to the top position by 2015.
He said that Audi’s first half of 2012 numbers were very good – the company is scheduled to released its first-half results on July 31.
