Honda N Box + goes on sale in Japan, not coming to U.S.

On Friday, the production version of Honda’s new compact minivan, the N Box +, will hit the streets of Japan as the second model in the series.

Crafted to adapt to a multitude of needs, the N Box +, powered by a 660cc engine, gets an optional aluminum ramp and a two-toned body added to its bed mode and multiple cargo mode features.

Since December, the premier N Box, which was well received at its 2011 Tokyo Auto Show, has sold 100,000 units.

No pricing information has been released as of yet, and there is still no plan to sell the model in the U.S.
