Audi A1 gets amplified for new special-edition model
Audi A1 fans get ready to get amplified. The German brand today has dropped two new exclusive editions for the A1 and the A1 Sportback known as the A1 amplified red and the A1 amplified white.
So how amplified are they? Available in Misano Red or Glacier White metallic, the Audi A1 amplified models comes in three different equipment levels that build on each other.
The first level (cleverly named amplified), gets high-gloss black on the roof line, S line roof spoiler, exterior mirror housings and single-frame grille. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels in 5-spoke design with black inserts and a matte, transparent film for the engine hood, roof and rear hatch. The inside gets Parade Red (amplified red) or Rock Gray trim stitching.
The second level, known as amplified plus, adds on a bunch of other features to the interior with black headline, LED interior light package and stainless steel pedals. On the outside it adds on parts from the aerodynamics competition kit, LED taillights and high-gloss black diffuser.
With Audi A1 models with over 121-hp – their is the third-level known as amplified advanced. This model adds a bunch of luxury touches including everything from the first two levels plus S sport seats with black upholstery in Silk Nappa leather and contrasting stitching in Parade Red or Dark Silver. An aerodynamics kit with Xenon plus headlights, matte black 18-inch wheels and more.
Of course the A1 and its special amplifiedness is only available in Europe.
