Dodge Dart dealer allocation will based on Caliber sales
Chrysler Group LLC has started taking dealer orders for the new 2013 Dodge Dart and will decide allocation based on how many Calibers dealers sold before the model was canceled.

The first Dart was built at Chrysler’s Belvidere, Ill. plant on May 7 but the first units will hit showrooms in later July or early August.
Production of the Dodge Caliber, which is being replaced by the Dart, ended in December 2011. As of June, more than 2,200 Calibers still sit unsold on dealer lots.
