Report: GM to move Super Bowl ad budget to support 2013 new model launches

After a surprise announcement that it will be pulling out of Super Bowl advertising next year, General Motors marketing chief Joel Ewanick said that the reason for the drop is so that the automaker can concentrate on other marketing efforts to support the range of new vehicle coming out next year.

Ewanick said he has “started reapplying those dollars to other very efficient ways of doing the same thing.”
