Voting begins for favorite female-designed Ford Mustang showcar for SEMA

After announcing its SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women contest earlier in the week, Ford Motor Company has now opened up voting to aide in the selection of the final concept.

The collaboration between Ford and SEMA is a first, and is lead by SEMA Businesswomen’s Network. At the end of the contest, a 2013 Mustang GT will be donated by Ford to undergo the winning modifications, all handled by women.

Women have volunteered to do the mods on the final project to help put a spotlight on those who are already in the industry and encourage more women to enter the field.

Vote for your favorite model at http://www.hotrod.com/all-female-mustang-build-ford-sweepstakes/ through June 3. Voters are also entered into a drawing for one of a few prizes.
