Report: 2015 Ford Mustang to be smaller, sleeker and lighter
We recently heard that the 2014/2015 model year Ford Mustang will take its design cues from the Evos Concept that made its world debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. New details now suggest that the new Mustang will now be more of a ‘world car’ that will cater to markets outside the United States.
That means that 2015 Mustang will evolve into a performance car than just the straight-line mean muscle car.

Insiders suggest that the new Mustang will move to an independent setup instead of the current straight axle rear end. While it will still rock your world in a straight line, it will now have some better handling characteristics.
The Mustang will also drop some weight and will be smaller and sleeker. Powertrain options will include anything from turbo 4-bangers, V6s and the amazing 5.0 liter BOSS V8.
