At the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, Jaguar confirmed that two new engines will make their way into the brand’s lineup: an all-new turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder and a new supercharged 3.0L V6.
The new supercharged 3.0 liter V6, derived from the brand’s 5.0 liter V8, is good for making 380-hp and will be offered in the new F-Type sports car. However, for those of you that think that 6-cylinder aren’t enough, Jaguar has confirmed that a V8 will eventually make its way in the F-Type as well.

When? No one really knows, but the move was confirmed to CARandDRIVER.
There is also no word on what kind of output will be offered but Jaguar offers a 5.0 liter V8 in a variety of outputs ranging from 470-hp to 550-hp.
