2012 Beijing: Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Wei Long edition celebrates ‘Year of the Dragon’

Yes, we all know it’s the ‘Year of the Dragon’ in China and almost every automaker at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show is showing off a special-edition model to celebrate the year. Bugatti has shown up to Beijing with what they call the ‘Wei Long 2012’, a one off Grand Sport model equipped with unique porcelain dragon relief parts at the in- and outside paying homage to the year of the dragon.

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Wei Long Edition was developed with Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin and features some of the finest porcelain rim on the out and inside of the car. The model carries dragon graphics on the oil and fuel cap, gets a white polished exterior and a carmine red interior.The headrests get an embroidered Chinese ‘Dragon’ character, and the handcrafted 100% silk floor mats are also embossed with Chinese ‘Dragon’ character.

Only one model will be made available to some wealthy Chinese individual. Pricing comes in at 1.58 million euros ($2.08 million USD).
