2012 Beijing: 2013 Volkswagen Lavida debuts in China

V-Dub’s Chinese division Shanghai Volkswagen is presenting the new Lavida sedan at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. The model, which was launched in the region in 2008, has quickly taken lead in the A-class market and the model is here to help keep that momentum going.

Volkswagen has sold more than 700,000 units of Lavida since its launch in 2008 and the new model gets a little more ‘luxurious’ with a contemporary design that is similar to the Passat.

Three engines variants will be offered in China along with four trim levels.

Do you think V-dub could use a similar model in the United States? Let us know in the comments section below.
