2012 Nissan Versa Hatchback price starts at $14,380, stays same as 2011 model year
Unlike the 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan, the 2012 Nissan Versa Hatchback will soldier on as it was in 2011. Why? Nissan says that since most of the Versa’s sales were five-doors, it wanted to debut an all-new sedan first before revamping the hatchback.
On sale now at dealerships nationwide, the 2012 Nissan Versa Hatchback is available in 1.8 S and 1.8 SL models, each equipped with a 122-horsepower 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, while the Hatchback 1.8 SL is available exclusively with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT transmission.

For the 2012 model year, the Versa Hatchback gets the Premium Package as standard on the SL model. Four new ackages are added for the S model including: Convenience Package, 15-inch Aluminum-Alloy Wheel Package, Nissan Navigation Package and a ‘Special Edition’ Package that combines the Convenience Package, the Plus Package and 15-inch Alloy Wheel Package at a savings of $900.
