Ferrari Enzo rumored to get 920-hp V12 Hybrid powertrain
Typically, Ferrari keeps pretty tight-lipped about its future production models, but rumors are continuing to fly about what’s to come.
Motor Trend magazine has reported that the model to replace the Enzo will be revealed at an exclusive event in the fall, and make its debut next year, probably at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
According to the magazine, the next model is likely to be dubbed the F70, come with a hybrid powertrain, and a modified version of the FF GT’s 6.3-liter V12. That means the new model will boast roughly 800-hp. If the KERS (kinetic energy recovery system) is used, an additional 120hp will come with it, making the potential total output of the next model well over 900hp.
So far, Ferrari has not made any confirming remarks on the Enzo replacement, but check back with us for more details as they come up.
