Check out our original post on the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
The 4.7 liter V8 for the Vantage has been upgraded to produce 420-hp while the Vantage S now produces 430-hp and 361 lb-ft. The 6-speed manual transmission remains but the optional 6-speed Sportshift automatic has been replaced with a 7-speed Sportshift II. Stopping power now comes from 380mm two-piece ventilated cast-iron front discs and six piston callipers. The new braking system also includes Hill Start Assist (HSA) for more precise control on steep inclines.
Aston says that the 2012 Vantage also comes with tires that are now 10mm wider than the outgoing model. The increase in size allows for better road-holding and more responsive steering.
