Report: Lamborghini showed exclusive clientele SUV concept during New York Auto Show
The only elite automakers that made an appearance at the 2012 New York Auto Show were Bentley and Rolls-Royce. Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin skipped the show as usual – however, we just learned that there was something secretly going on in NYC that we did not know of.
According to reports coming from social media, Lamborghini held a private event for its clientele to show them a potential new third model – the crossover we’ve been hearing so much about.
Check out some other news on the Lamborghini SUV.

According to guests that attended the event, the model was a Cherry Red 4×4 scheduled to debut at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show later this month.
One particular pre-show guest, Ed Bolian, spilled out some details on his personal blog but the info was quickly removed – but not before it made its way around some other sites. According to Bolian, the Lamborghini SUV/Crossover features a silhouette that’s similar to the BMW X6. He states that the model is very aggressive and muscular and appears to be influenced by the Aventador.
Rumors suggest that the Lamborghini SUV will be powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine making 584-hp.
We’ll learn more details later this month from Beijing.
