2012 Buick Verano price starts at $23,470

Buick has just announced pricing on the new 2012 Buick Verano, which will go on sale later this year. Prices for the 2012 Buick Verano will start at $23,470 including $885 in destination charges.

The 2012 Buick Verano will be offered in three trim-levels with the top model carrying an MSRP of $26,850. All models of the 2012 Verano are powered by an Ecotec 4-cylinder engine making 180-hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. Mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the 2012 Buick Verano will run from 0-60 mph in 8 seconds and should estimate 31 mpg on the highway.

GM says that a 2.0L turbo engine will be offered in the near future, which we’re looking forward to.

Standard features on the 2012 Buick Verano include leatherette seating, high-res 7-inch diagonal LED backlit color-touch radio display with IntelliLink technology and 10 standard air bags. Automatic climate control, remote start, power windows and steering wheel radio controls are also standard. Move up a level and you’ll get leather, heated seats, available heated steering wheel and standard push-button engine start. Not bad at all for a car in this price range.

The 2012 Buick Verano’s IntelliLink system uses Bluetooth or USB to connect a driver’s smartphone to the touchscreen display and expands capabilities via voice activation and steering wheel-mounted controls. It also allows you to stream stereo audio from the phone through services like Pandora Internet radio and Stitcher SmartRadio. A Bose sounds system is available as an option.

We’re not sure how the 2012 Buick Verano drives but we’ll let you know as soon as we get to review one.
