Fernando Alonso gifted a Ferrari FF for winning 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix

Formula One driver Fernando Alonso had quite a victory to celebrate recently this past weekend. As a result, Formula team Ferrari rewarded greatly for taking the checkered flag this past weekend at the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix.

Taking the lead in standings and winning the second race of the season, Ferrari chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo invited Alonso for a quick meeting after the victory. And during that meeting, Montezemolo handed Alonso the keys to a brand spankin’ new Ferrari FF.

But the Ferrari FF wasn’t the only gift given to Alonso, as he also received a custom 458 Italia, a Maserati GranTurismo convertible, an Aparth 695 Tributo Ferrari, and a special edition Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8.

So basically, if you want a free Ferrari plus some extras, go out there and train to be a Formula One winning driver for the Ferrari team!

Refresher: Power for the Ferrari FF comes from a 6.3L V12 engine making 651-hp at 8,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 504 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm with 368 lb-ft available from 1,000 rpm. The engine is mated to Ferrari’s patented 4RM four-wheel-drive system and a 7-speed transaxle dual-clutch F1 gearbox, allowing the Ferrari FF to go from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 208 mph. Fuel-economy wise, the Ferrari FF manages a combined 15 mpg.
