Video: Road and Track pins Audi A7 against Lexus GS

The guys over at Road and Track have taken one of the best sedans to come out from the German market as of recently and pinned it against one of the hottest sedan from Japan – it’s the Audi A7 vs. the new Lexus GS 350.

  • Audi A7: The 2012 Audi A7 is powered by a 3.0L TFSI Supercharged V6 making 310-hp at 5,500-6,500 rpm and 325 lb-ft of torque at 2,900-4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 8-speed Triptronic automatic transmission, which allows the 2012 A7 to run from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph (electronically limited). Prices start at $59,250.
  • Lexus GS: Power for the 2013 Lexus GS 350 comes from a 3.5 liter V6 engine making 306-hp at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 277 lb-ft at 4,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed sequential-shift transmission allowing it to go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 142 mph. 30 to 50 mph takes just 3 seconds. The Lexus GS also comes with the Lexus Drive Mode selector allowing for four driving modes including ECO, Normal, Sport S and available Sport S+. Prices start at $46,900.
