2013 Acura RDX enters production in Ohio, goes on sale next month
Attention all compact-SUV fans – Acura has launched production of the new 2013 RDX at its East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio. The 2013 model year Acura RDX will go on sale at dealerships nationwide next month.

Acura dealers, local community leaders and public officials joined associates at the plant earlier this week as the first mass-produced 2013 Acura RDX rolled off the assembly line.

Refresher: The 2013 Acura RDX is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine making 273-hp. The engine will be coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel-economy figures come in at 20/28 mpg (city/highway) for the front-wheel-drive model and 19/27 mpg for the all-wheel-drive model. Prices start at $34,320.
