Photo Rendering: Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce based on the Aventador J

At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini surprised the world with the Aventador J speedster – however, that won’t be the only variant of the Aventador. Just like its predecessor, the Murcielago, the Aventador will see a true convertible version and the most extreme Aventador SuperVeloce.

We’re not really sure what the Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce will look like – but a rendering artist here takes a shot with a photo rendering of the future model based on the Aventador J.

The Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce will definitely lose some weight and will generate a couple more horses form its 6.5 liter V12 engine.

Refresher: The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 will be powered by a 6.5L V12 engine making 690-hp and 509 lb-ft of torque. Mated to the company’s new ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) 7-speed transmission, 0 to 60 mph will come in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph. The Aventador is an all-wheel-drive supercar courtesy of Lamborghini’s Haldex 4-wheel drive system.
