2012 Geneva: IED Cisitalia 202 E Concept unveiled

Maserati designer Luigi Giampaolo and 11 students coordinated by Pininfarina Lead Designer Luca Borgogno teamed up to create  a car that Henry Ford II described as the most beautiful Italian car he had ever seen (the 1947 Cisitalia) – they come up with this – the IED Cisitalia 202 E Concept and it’s definitely a great/unique looking piece of machinery.

The IED Cisitalia 202 E two seater coupe measures 4,270mm long, 1,850mm wide and 1,240mm tall and rides on a 2,650mm wheelbase.

The concept is powered by a 450-hp V8 engine that is mounted up front and throws power to the back. The original model was powered by a 1.1 liter 4- cylinder making 55-hp. Oh, how times have changed.
