2012 Geneva: Hamann Guardian EVO Cayenne makes you want to ‘ball so hard’

Hamann has brought its Guardian Evo project to this year’s Geneva Motor Show, displaying its take on the Porsche Caynne Turbo.

The Guardian Evo is, in true Hamann fashion, loud, with a full body kit that adds bigger air intakes, a new front bumper that adds a bit of length overall with integrated daytime running lights and LED fog and high-beam lights. A carbon hood with ventilation enhancements, rear bumper with integrated diffuser, and twin exhaust pipes have also been added. The whole package rides on a sizable set of 23-inch wheels wrapped in 315/25 Dunlop Sport Maxx rubber.

Power output for the Guardian Evo shaves 0.1 seconds off the stock Caynne’s 0-62mph time of 4.7 seconds, with a top speed of 187mph, which was originally 173mph. A reprogrammed ECU, custom exhaust, and sports air filter helped kick up the horsepower.

On the inside, Hamann adds embroidering, stitched leather, quilted materials, and a two-tone color scheme.
