2012 Geneva: 2013 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman can climb walls

Okay may be not – but Mini did have a very creative display that showed a Mini John Cooper Works Countryman hanging from the wall.

The Mini John Cooper Works Countryman will go on sale as the high-performance version of the model in markets later this year.

Refresher: Power for the 2013 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman comes from 1.6 liter turbocharged engine making 211-hp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 207 lb-ft between 2,100 and 5,200 pm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or Mini’s new 6-speed automatic. With the 6-speed manual, the Mini John Cooper Works Countryman runs from 0 to 62 mph in 7.1 seconds and 7.5 seconds with the 6-speed automatic. Top speed comes in at 127 mph.
