Production BMW M135i Concept due in Europe by year end, will get AWD
A couple of days ago, BMW surprised the automotive world with a new concept that they will debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show under the brand’s new BMW M Performance Automobiles lineup. Known as the M135i Concept, the model is said to hint at the first BMW M Performance model with a straight 6-cylinder gasoline unit.
While BMW hasn’t confirmed the model for production, sources say that the BMW M135i Concept will indeed be produced and will hit European roads before the end of 2012.

The BMW M135i will be powered by a 6-clyinder gasoline engine that will use M Performance Twin Power Turbo technology, making around 320-hp and 322 lb-ft of torque. That will allow 0 to 62 mph to come in the mid 4 second range with a top speed of 155 mph.
But here’s the somewhat cool part for you cold climate lovers. The BMW M135i Concept will run on all four wheels instead of the rear-wheels making it the first 1-Series to get all-wheel-drive.
