Every year, IED is known for showing up the Geneva Motor Show with attractive concepts. This year, things will be a little more interesting than usual as IED will be unveiling a new concept inspired by a car that Henry Ford II described as the most beautiful Italian car he had ever seen.
Known as the Cisitalia 202 E, the concept is the work of 11 students coordinated by Pininfarina Lead Designer Luca Borgogno and Maserati designer Luigi Giampaolo.
The Cisitalia 202 E Concept shows the idea behind a two-seat coupe that is powered a compact V8 engine making 450-hp that will send power to the rear wheels.
“To encourage our students to overstep their limits, they must have the possibility of developing exciting, ambitious projects,” said César Mendoza, Director of IED Turin.
