2013 Hyundai i30 wagon offers more room for C-segment Euro shoppers
Europeans love their station wagons and at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Hyundai will be offering them a new wagon to fulfill their desires. Based on the Hyundai i30 5-door hatch, the new i30 wagon offers C-segment shoppers some extra room.
With a longer body, the new 2013 Hyundai i3o wagon has its overall length increased by 7.2 inches to 176.5 inches. That extends the trunk space from 13.34 cubic feet to 18.6 cubic feet and with the seats folded down, buyers will enjoy a whopping 58 cubic feet.
“The New Generation i30 has been widely praised for its style, quality, and value,” said Allan Rushforth, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor Europe. “Our new wagon offers all of those attributes plus even greater load-carrying capacity. We expect it to appeal strongly to those looking for stylish and flexible practicality, especially active families.”
Power for the new 2013 Hyundai i30 wagon will come from a range of three gasoline and three diesel engines with output ranging from 93-hp to 133-hp.
