Video: BMW M Performance Parts teased for 2013 1-Series Hatchback

Just a month BMW dropped its M Performance Automobiles including the BMW M550d xDrive, BMW X5 M50d and the BMW X6 M50d – all being high-performance diesel M models.

BMW is now teasing a new version of the 1-Series the same way it teased the M Performance Automobiles – however, there’s no 1 M50d here. Instead, its the introduction of the M Performance Parts that will launch in spring 2012.

So how is this different from BMW’s M Sport Package. Well, instead of just offering visual upgrades, the M Performance Parts actually offers exclusive engine upgrades, better handling and bespoke styling enhancement at a lower price tag than the pure M models.
