While it isn’t an official word from GM, the guys that have all the inside news say that a source has confirmed that the company is working on a sixth-gneration version of the Chevrolet Camaro. The unnamed source says that the model is scheduled for a production date of 2016.
The only other thing that was confirmed by the source was that it will be available with a Gen V 6.2 liter V8 engine. The engine will be a direct-injected version of Chevrolet’s small block and will have fewer displacements – fewer than 6.0 liters.

Transmission choices may be upgraded from a 6-speed manual to a 7-speed manual and a dual-clutch automatic.
Chevy, how about some better visibility, less weight and a nicer interior?
