2013 Dodge Dart interior teased, Mopar will offer hundreds of customizable option

Dodge last night continued its teasing for the new 2013 Dart compact that will make its full public debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show next month.

“Dodge designers focused on creating a modern blend of precision craftsmanship, state-of-the-art technology, exciting bursts of color and hand-sculpted shapes when designing the Dart’s interior, which is made with materials and technology typically found in more expensive vehicle segments,” Dodge said in a statement. “Starting with modern Dodge DNA, and through the use of innovative ambient interior lighting, high-quality soft-touch materials and high-tech features, the 2013 Dodge Dart is loaded with cool amenities and unexpected delights for both drivers and passengers.”

Only time well tell what amount of a high-quality materials the new Dodge Dart will have but compared to current Dodge models – we expect it to be up there.

The interior of the 2013 Dodge Dart will features a floating island bezel, which holds an optional 7-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) customizable gauge cluster display with light pipe surround that also houses the available class-exclusive UConnect Touch 8.4-inch touchscreen multimedia center. The center storage area can easily store an Apple iPad and also houses the AUX and USB connection ports.

The 2013 Dodge Dart will be available in 12 different exterior colors, 14 interior colors, six wheel options, three engines options and three transmission choices. Mopar will also offer a bunch of new customization options for the new Dart.

Oh, how we look forward to meeting the new Dart next month in Detroit.
