At the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, Mazda showed the new Takeri Concept, a study of how the next-generation Mazda6 sedan will look. According to WhatCar? Mazda will also offer a coupe version of the Mazda6.
The next-generation Mazda6 will debut in 2013 and will be followed closely by the station wagon variant. In 2014, Mazda will also offer a four-seat coupe variant of the 6.
Like the rest of the lineup, the Mazda6 Coupe will also use the company’s new SkyActiv technologies with power coming form a 2.0 liter gasoline and a 2.2 liter diesel engine. It will also feature fuel-saving technologies that Mazda unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show known as i-ELOOP.
