AC Schnitzer upgrades styling and power on 2012 BMW 1-Series

AC Schnitzer assembled a crisp-looking tuning kit for the BMW 1-Series F20 that will be making its debut at the 2011 Essen Motor Show.

The German tuner gave the new 2012 Euro 1-Series a new front apron and roof spoiler, a graphic option, and a selection of 18- or 19-inch wheels. Interior mods add aluminum details, custom floor mats, and a custom shift knob that has its own option for a digital display.

The 1-Series power kit is for the four-cylinder diesel engine that kicks power up 28-hp to 171-hp, or up to 210-hp in the 120d version. Chrome tailpipes and a lowered suspension have also been added.
