Cadillac has just unveiled the new 2013 XTS sedan, which is the latest model from America’s second oldest brand. Pegged to replace the STS and the DTS sedans, the XTS features Cadillac’s new CUE system or Cadillac User Experience.

Although this was building up to be one of the more anticipated models from Cadillac, it wasn’t exactly what we were expecting, which was a rear-wheel drive flagship that could compete with the likes of the BMW 7-Series and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Caddy is apparently working on a larger sedan that will compete with those.

But either way, it seems to be a worthy replacement for both the STS and DTS sedans and a good example to showcase the next step in Cadillac’s technology.
