Ford has released a new teaser of the 2013 Escape – this time with the company’s VP of Marketing and Communications, Jim Farley, lifting up the skirt to tease the new model.
The Escape will make its offical debut at next week’s Los Angeles Auto show, and the picture is part of social medial promotion efforts to build buzz around the car in a collaboration with an new iPhone/iPad app called GoldRun. The app will feature more teasers, and Ford says: “From Nov 4-17, nationwide, we’ll run a challenge that can be activated anywhere as long as it’s on an iPhone or and iPad (with a camera). Each day, for a two-day window, we’ll have a new puzzle that reveals a small image of the car or has to do with the new Escape.”
Every other challenge will reveal a teaser video that shares more informtion about the new vehcile. Those who complete the final challenge will see a full reveal video and be entered to win a Living Social Escape (vacation) of their choice (up to $3,000).”
