2012 Honda CR-V production model leaked via brochure
Oh Internet – how much we love thee for leaking images of production models before their originally scheduled debuts. Today, the Internet brings us the first leaked images of the 2012 Honda CR-V. The images come courtesy of a leaked JDM market brochure ahead of the CR-V’s world debut, scheduled for the 2011 LA Auto Show next month.
“The 2012 CR-V Concept strongly hints at the more dynamic and refined look of the upcoming model,” John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda said earlier this year about the Concept. “As the best-selling SUV in each of the past four years, the 2012 CR-V promises to build on its highly successful formula with even more style, innovative features and higher fuel economy.”

Sales of the 2012 Honda CR-V are scheduled to begin at the end of 2011. While the 180-hp 4-cylinder powertrain is likely to remain the same, fuel-economy figures are expected to be improved.
