Report: Porsche aims to sell 140,000 units in 2012, 200,000 units by 2018
Porsche AG is targeting a new sales record of 140,000 units in 2012 relying on demand for the next-generation 911 and Boxster models. A source said that Porsche is aiming to increase deliveries after selling 120,000 units this year.
The Stuttgart automaker sold 97,000 units last year and said that it would deliver ‘more than’ 100,000 units in 2011.
The new 2012 Porsche 911 will go on sale this December followed by an updated Boxster in the first half of 2012.
By 2018, Porsche aims to double sales to 200,000 cars and SUVs.
