2012 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition is for those that like to blend in with mother nature
Ram today unveiled another special-edition model for its 1500 pickup. Known as the 2012 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition, the model will be in limited availability in partnership with Mossy Oak, America’s top camouflage brand.
“Ram Truck owners are deeply involved with the outdoors and proudly participate in hunting and fishing,” said Fred Diaz, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler de Mexico – Chrysler Group LLC. “In recognition of the millions of American hunters, we’re launching the Ram Mossy Oak Edition, as we did the Ram Outdoorsman, to keep our focus on the needs and wants of our customers so that they can enjoy their enthusiasm for the outdoors and their sport of choice.”
The Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition bedcaps and tailgate are covered in Mossy Oak Breakup Infinity camouflage pattern and the Mossy Oak logo is also on the rear quarter panels. On the inside, the center column of the instrument panel is finished in Mossy Oak Breakup Infiniti along with the door panel inserts. The Mossy Oak logo is stitched on the four head rests and buyers can choose between Espresso Tuscany-colored Katzkin Leather seats with Mossy Oak headrest embroidery.
Price for the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition start at $39,910 with sales starting in December 2011. It is exclusively available as a Ram 1500 4×4 Crew Cab model, and is based on the Outdoorsman trim.
Exterior color choices include: Black, Bright White, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl, Mineral Gray Metallic, Saddle Brown and Sagebrush monotone. The truck is also available in Black, Bright White and Deep Cherry Red Crystal two-tone, with Metallic Gray Metallic lower body.
