2012 Porsche 911 was Frankfurt Motor Show’s most discussed car online

According to a stats from UK-based Kantar Media Precis, the new 2012 Porsche 911 sparked the most interest from social media users during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Whether it was Tweest, Facebook-Likes or blog posts, the new Porsche 911 seemed to grab the attention of the social media geeks.

The car to take the second place was the Mercedes-Benz B-Class, followed by the BMW i3 Concept, Audi Urban Concept and the Ford Evos Concept.

The study’s results are based on articles or posts from two weeks before the first press day until the end of the second press day (Sept. 14, 2011).

Top speed for the 911 Carrera S and 911 Carrera comes in at 188 mph and 179 mph, respectively. Prices start $82,100 for the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera and $96,400 for the 2012 911 Carrera S.
