Report: 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLC sedan to debut at 2012 New York Auto Show

At the 2012 New York Auto Show in April, Mercedes-Benz will hold the world debut to the new CLC sedan. Think of the new Mercedes-Benz CLC as a baby version of the larger CLS sedan currently on sale.

While the Mercedes-Benz CLC will definitely open up the market for younger buyers as a higher-volume seller but it won’t be stripped down of all the ‘Benzness.’ “This will be a real Mercedes-Benz,” one executive stressed.

The Mercedes-Benz CLC will expand on the C-Class sedan and C-Class Coupe lineup. Reports suggest that Mercedes is also planning a compact SUV that will be called GLC.

A shooting brake version of the CLC is also in the works.
