Patent drawings suggest Audi RS5 Cabriolet is on the way
At the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, Audi took the wraps off of the new 2012 Audi RS5, which will be headed to the United States next year.
According to recently leaked patent drawings it seems like Audi is now working on a new RS5 Cabriolet. When and in which markets the car will debut will be confirmed at a later date.
For now, we know that it will indeed be powered by a 4.2 liter V8 making 450-hp at 8,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 317 lb-ft between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm – it will be mated to a dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel-drive.
